Prospector allows you to easily research sales prospects from anywhere on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

When you open prospector you are given a browser to conduct your sales research with. As you find prospects or new information about existing prospects simply tap and hold on the information you want to keep, choose ‘Copy’ and Prospector will immediately prompt you to choose the sales prospect you want to associate the information with.

When you are ready to pull your research off of your device simply use the Email as CSV option to send yourself a file that can be imported into your spreadsheets, Salesforce.com and SugarCRM.

A common refrain from iPhone developers has been how difficult it is to communicate with their customers, prevent misinformed negative reviews and successfully improve word of mouth sales. To tackle these problems Infofission has created a re-usable framework and support service called Tap4Help that allows developers to implement the most common and successful customer communication strategies in their applications in under two minutes.

The Tap4Help library is implemented in 100% native code and allows developers to:

• Receive structured support requests that include application and OS version information.
• Provide real-time documentation updates to users via version specific Frequently Asked Questions.
• Provide easy recommendation services to drive word of mouth sales.
• Provide a listing of other applications they have available in the App Store.
• Direct users to provide a review of the application.

All of these tasks except for providing reviews are accomplished directly within the application allowing the developer to provide a better customer support user experience and focus on the features that will separate their application from the competition.

The Tap4Help framework is available now and is currently integrated into a number of applications that are currently available in the App Store including all of Infofission’s applications: Pixel This!, PhotoJot, 44 Jots and 44 Jots – Text Edition. Tap4Help is a newly announced service from Infofission to help iPhone application developers communicate with their customers more effectively.

The Tap4Help service provides customers a more fluid support experience and allows developers to more effectively develop and maintain relationships with their customers. The Tap4Help service allows developers to provide the following functionality directly from their application:

• Browsable Frequently Asked Questions implemented in native code.
• Submission and tracking of support/feedback requests.
• Link to demonstration or promotion video on YouTube and have it display in the on-device YouTube application.
• Link the user directly to the application’s review page in the mobile App Store to make it easier for satisfied users to post positive reviews.

Tap4Help is featured in all four of Infofission’s applications in the App Store:

• PhotoJot
• 44 Jots
• 44 Jots – Text Edition
• Pixel This!

As a result of the inclusion of Tap4Help in these applications the following results have been observed:

• 9 out of 10 support and feedback requests are now initiated from the in-application Tap4Help screen.
• “Bug Reports” submitted in the form of user reviews in the App Store has declined.
• Newly discovered issues and other pertinent information can be provided to the in-application FAQ section in real-time and the users can see the information without leaving the application or waiting for a page to load within a UIWebView control.

The Tap4Help service is provided as a drop-in library that developers can include in their apps in as little as two minutes. Tap4Help is currently in a private beta and final pricing has yet to be announced. Applications that participate in the private beta will receive lifetime service.

Version 1.3 adds the ability to backup and restore using a web browser on your Wifi network. With 44 Jots you aren’t forced to sacrifice your privacy to have a backup of your data.

This enhancement also adds a clear upgrade path for 44 Jots – Text Edition users to move to 44 Jots without losing any of their data. All that is required is to download a backup from within 44 Jots – Text Edition and proceed to perform a restore in 44 Jots.

Version 1.2.1 adds an icon badge to the 44 Jots icon that indicates the number of items you have that are either due today or already overdue.

PhotoJot 1.2 is available now in the App Store for $2.99.

PhotoJot 1.3 is nearing completion and will be released to a small number of beta testers soon.  PhotoJot 1.3 will add2 many new features.
